Нова задача по проект "Зелено образование в зелена среда"

Задачата за месец октомври 2022г. беше "Традиционни ястия". Учуниците от ЧОУ Банкерче подготвиха презентация на традиционното българско меню и я споделиха с партньорите:

Shopska Salata – The best Bulgarian salad

Shopska salad is one of the most iconic Bulgarian dishes. The combination of fresh vegetables and cheese is a culinary symbol of the country that Bulgarians are proud of, along with their yogurt and the fruit liqueur rakia.

Tarator

There is no summer without our favorite cold yoghurt soup Tarator. Fresh cucumbers, delicious Bulgarian yoghurt, some walnuts, dill, water and you are in heaven. It’s absolutely delicious!

Banitsa

Banitsa is the queen of the Bulgarian cuisine. It is made with pastry sheets with a filling of cheese, eggs and yoghurt. There are some variations – with pumpkin or with spinach, but the traditional Banitsa is with white cheese

Meshana Skara

Meshana Skara or mixed grill in English, is all about meat! Bulgarian’s love meat, so this is ideal. It is a combination of grilled meat in various forms and versions. Generally, it consists of kebapche, kyufte, pork steaks and skewers of pork meat. It’s basically the crème de la crème of Bulgarian food.

Stuffed peppers

Stuffed peppers with minced meat and rice is also very popular dish in Bulgaria. A version without meat is also served on the table on Christmas Eve.

А през месец ноември учениците представиха рецептата за "Българския таратор"

COLD SOUP TARATOR

You will find the cold cucumber soup in any respectable Bulgarian restaurant. Sometimes it is served as a soup in a bowl, sometimes you get it in a glass as a drink accompanying your main dish and other times it works as a terrific starter. Tarator is easily prepared and universally beloved.

Ingredients:

1 cucumber

400 g yogurt

Dill

3 cloves garlic

A handful of chopped walnuts

2 tbsp oil

300 ml water

Directions:

Wash and peel the cucumbers. Cut in small cubes or grate in a large bowl. Add the finely chopped garlic, dill and walnuts. Add the oil and stir well.

Don’t like garlic? Don’t add it. Apart from the cucumber, oil and yogurt everything else is optional.

In a separate pot mix well the yogurt and water. Depending on the yogurt you are using you might need more or less water. Add the yogurt mixture to the cucumbers.

Serve chilled.
